It will take some knowledge of css, photoshop, and ftp to uploaded updated images.

To update the control button you will find the setting under StyleVars

  1. Login to AdminCP
  2. Go to Styles & Templates
  3. Click on Style Manager
  4. Press go in the drop down with StyleVars Selected

In the search box you will find the following

control_content_background – Controls the normal state of the button, you can revert what we have and then set a background hue.

control_content_border – Controls the button border this is for normal and hover state.

control_content_hover_background – Controls the hover state of the button, you can revert what we have and then set a background hue.

To change the background of the sub bar it is considered a thead

  1. Login to AdminCP
  2. Go to Styles & Templates
  3. Click on Style Manager
  4. Press the << >> to the right of the skin
  5. Find CSS Templates
  6. Edit the additional.css

The three sections backgrounds you have to modify is

  1. .thead_bar .theadrow
  2. #threadlist .threadlisthead
  3. .postbit .posthead, .postbitlegacy .posthead, .eventbit .eventhead

Here you will have to modify the background color and image as the image is the color you see. This is where your photoshop skills come into play and then ftp to upload the updated version you create.
